To celebrate America’s Native Spirit and National Bourbon Heritage Month, don’t miss the Kentucky Bourbon Festival September 18-22. The festival, not far from Bullitt County, is dedicated to celebrating the history and art of distilling bourbon whiskey. This is one of the most favorite festivals in Kentucky.

This year’s Music on the Lawn will be featuring the signature sounds of Kentucky natives, JD Shelburne, as the headlining act on Friday night and Kaleb Cecil, as the headlining act on Saturday night, along with a full line-up to keep your toes tapping all weekend.

You don’t want to miss the Kentucky Bourbon Festival’s World Championship Bourbon Barrel Relay or the Master Distillers Auction, not to mention educational opportunities, arts and crafts, music on the lawn and much more. There will be plenty of opportunities to learn about bourbon making and the history of America’s Native Spirit. Something for everyone!

If you are planning to stay the weekend, you might want to check out Shepherdsville hotels. These Bourbon Trail accommodations are a short drive away. See our Lodging page for details.
