Forest Edge Winery a cozy family-owned and operated winery located near the Jim Beam American Stillhouse at the edge of the Bernheim Forest in Shepherdsville at the head of the Kentucky Wine and Whiskey Trail, is open for both wine tastings and on-site consumption. The Four Roses Warehouse and Bottling Facility, a legend on the Bullitt County Wine and Whiskey Trail and the Kentucky Bourbon Trail, has reopened its Visitor’s Center in Cox Creek for retail business. At this time, only a limited number of people are being admitted to the Visitor’s Center at one time. Four Roses is working hard to provide a safe environment for its tastings and gatherings. In the meantime, courtesy curbside retail service is available by phone order and appointment.
The distilleries and wineries dotted along the Bullitt County Wine and Whiskey Trail are generally within 9-10 miles of each other. If you plan to stay in the area to fully enjoy the Wine and Whiskey Trail and other attractions, there are many Bourbon Trail hotels and other lodging and dining choices in the Shepherdsville area.
