Description

The Shepherdsville City Park is nestled on 114 acres and offers a tranquil escape. The expansive park boasts an array of amenities to cater to visitors of all ages. The park has two pavilions providing shade and a sheltered space for picnics and social gatherings. The pavilions are free to reserve and are a great location to host birthday parties. For the little ones, there are two well-maintained playground areas where they can run around and burn off energy. What truly sets this park apart is the scenic Salt River that borders its grounds, offering breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere. Whether you want to sit back and relax overlooking the water or take a leisurely stroll along its banks, it’s an idyllic spot for nature lovers seeking solace in the heart of the city. The park also has a small dog park for your four-legged friends to enjoy and two baseball fields. With such an abundance of space and amenities, the Shepherdsville City Park truly has something for everyone to enjoy. We are currently working on the park plan and new things will be added such as an all-inclusive playground, sand volleyball, an amphitheater, and much more! We are really excited about the new town square that will feature a veteran’s memorial wall and a dynamic water feature that will be a beautiful focal point as you enter the park from Buckman Street!
