Named the number-one public course in Kentucky by Golf Week Magazine in 2013, Heritage Hill Golf Club lists a number of impressive ratings from Golf Digest, including being named among the top 10 new courses in America in 2008. Former Jack Nicklaus design associate Doug Beach planned the 7,100-yard golf course to challenge golfers of all abilities while remaining fun to play. The par-72 golf course sports bent grass greens and zoysia tees and fairways.

The Bullitt County History Museum and Old Stone Jail

Housed in Bullitt County’s century-old courthouse, the museum features ever-changing displays chronicling nearly 200 years of local history from the pioneer settlers who would be among the first commercial salt producers west of the Alleghenies to Bullitt County’s role in the Civil War to modern day. In addition to the museum, visitors can tour the 19th century stone jail located at the east entrance to the Bullitt County Courthouse. The Bullitt County History Museum also boasts an impressive research room and library.
